Been hospitalized,but okay.

I have been hospitalized in a (so-"cold") mental care center, but I am okay.

After my mom's tragic suicide, I suppose that this was only a matter of time. I've almost never liked this particular hospital!Reason: nurses and doctors so distant that they look at me in too objective a viewpoint and they just don't do any real mental/spiritual care. They only obey policies and rules and they get self-satified and praise, but that's no true help for the patients...Is this Japanese Zen and Bushido are all about? I hope not.

Sincerely I want to fly over this Pharisees' WorkNest, talk with my loved ones and go to church, indeedy.

turbolaserguy desu,I will very likely get out of this twice-dead place on Monday,Feb 25, a week later.

Finally.

Before that, I am allowed to stay at my grandma's place for 3 nights, so, life's gonna be a lot easier.

Phew.

I'm you're out of the hospital at least. I hope things look up. ::hugs:: I was wondering where you'd been....

Mental health care is very strange in Japan in my opinion, even in Obihiro which is supposedly good about such things. They diagnosed me with anxiety and PTSD, then stuck me on a sedative twice a day for three months. No counseling, no discussion of reducing my stress level or what was wrong in my life. Nothing. Just pills.

They do that a lot here, too, but it was pretty cut and dry there.

I hope you are doing better and finding at least one person in the hospital who is knowledgeable, helpful and compassionate. Eventually even the worst emotions find a way of resolving, but support is so important to diminish how long you suffer. Turn over every stone until you find the help that you need!

Take care adn keep me in the loop.
Best to you,

Hope you are doing better. Doctors and nurses are always distant, they are objective.

I'm so sad to hear about this, I really hope you will make it through alright. Maybe you should ask for a priest or monk, sometimes just talking to someone who is not a doctor might help.
